Investment Counselor Team Lead – Senior Vice President Join Citi's Wealth Team as a Senior Vice President (SVP) in Singapore, leading a high‐performing Investment Counselor team while personally advising a portfolio of sophisticated high‐net‐worth clients. This role blends strategic leadership with active client advisory, driving investment revenue, growing Net New Investment Assets (NNIA), and solidifying Citi's leadership in premier wealth advisory. The Opportunity As a leader, you will inspire a dynamic team and leverage deep expertise in portfolio construction, multi‐asset investing, and market dynamics to help clients achieve their financial ambitions. This is a collaborative and strategic individual with an entrepreneurial drive to acquire new client relationships, passionate about building a thriving practice and mentoring the next generation of advisors. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy – Coach, mentor, and manage a team of Investment Counselors, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and high performance. Drive Business Growth – Develop and execute strategies to achieve team goals for investment revenue, client acquisition, and asset growth, engaging Client Advisory Team Leaders and Investment Solutions Team. Enhance Client Engagement – Guide your team in deepening client relationships through holistic, insight‐driven investment solutions and superior advice. Client Advisory & Management Serve as a Trusted Advisor – Act as the primary investment expert for a portfolio of high‐net‐worth clients, providing tailored advice and seamless trade execution in partnership with Client Advisors. Portfolio Construction – Apply sound asset allocation frameworks and demonstrate strong proficiency across traditional and alternative asset classes to optimize client outcomes. Acquire New Relationships – Partner with Client Advisors to prospect and win new investment clients, expanding Citi's share of wallet and market penetration. Compliance, Risk & Controls Ensure KYC/AML and other compliance norms are strictly adhered to, assessing risk and safeguarding Citigroup and clients by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. What You'll Bring 15+ years of investment advisory experience with a proven track record of delivering sophisticated investment solutions and driving business growth. Demonstrated success in leading, managing, and motivating high‐performing advisory teams. Deep knowledge across all major investment asset classes, currencies, and global markets, including traditional and alternative investments. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills, building immediate trust and credibility with affluent and high‐net‐worth individuals. Strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and sound, independent investment judgment. Education Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced professional certification (CFA/CAIA) is a plus. Must meet and maintain all Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) licensing and regulatory requirements for providing investment advice. We value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
