Project: Jurong Region Line (JRL) – Rolling Stock Systems Location: Tengah Depot / Mainline, Singapore Job Summary We are seeking a proactive Safety Officer / WSH Officer to support the Rolling Stock Testing & Commissioning (T&C) program for the JRL MRT project. The role ensures all depot and dynamic test activities are carried out safely and in full compliance with LTA WSHE requirements and MOM WSH regulations. Key Responsibilities Implement and enforce safety standards for rolling stock T&C, depot, and interface works. Conduct daily site inspections, safety briefings, and audits at test and depot areas. Review and monitor Risk Assessments (RA), Method Statements (RAMS), and Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems. Support safety planning for train movements, live power testing, and dynamic trials. Lead or assist in incident / near-miss investigations and ensure timely closure. Coordinate with LTA, main contractors, and subcontractors on WSHE compliance at working site (train depot/port). Represents for the company for safety representatives to communicate with other sub-contractor and client. Familiar with lifting activities and understand with Port requirements for the train delivery program. Prepare monthly WSHE reports, safety statistics, and attend safety coordination meetings. Requirements Registered WSH Officer (WSHO) with MOM Singapore (mandatory) with at least 3 years WSH certified licence Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Safety, or related discipline. Minimum 3 years' experience in railway, depot, or testing & commissioning environment (optional) . Familiar with LTA WSHE requirements and rail safety rules train movement, 750VDC, confined space (optional) . Strong communication, risk assessment, and coordination skills.
