Summary of Job :
This role will be that of a Senior BW Analyst (SAP). Responsible for maintaining, supporting, and carrying out SAP BW activities as required.
Reports to : BI Director
Line Management Responsibility : None
Location : Singapore / India (Remote)
Key Tasks and Activities :
Translate business requirements into a detailed architecture design and deliver the requirements by developing and enhancing SAP BI applications.
Implement new solutions & enhancements within the SAP BI landscape.
Responsible for Data Integration, Modelling, Visualizations, and creating Dashboards.
Perform ongoing maintenance for SAP BPC (Planning & Consolidation) including data load monitoring.
Understand business requirements and develop solutions within the existing framework.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to gather users’ feedback.
Work with Business/Business Process Analysts to develop new data flows.
Perform unit testing/integration testing of developments related to SAP BW.
Follow established change control procedures for migration to QA and Production.
Ensure documentation of processes is compiled and complete and in line with the Project Development Methodology.
Area Covered : Global
Key Relationships : Internal: Fellow BPAs, IT Team, Super users
Qualifications Required :
5-7 years of hands-on experience as a techno-functional analyst.
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, and proven & demonstrable applicable experience.
Key Skills/Knowledge Required :
At least 2 implementation cycles and 1-2 support projects experience.
Must have relevant experience in:
SAP BW 7.5
BW on HANA
BW4HANA
SAP ABAP
Experience in SAP BPC (consolidation & planning).
Good understanding of Data Integration, Modelling & ETL.
Experience in Visualizations and creating Dashboards.
Experience in reporting tools such as Query Designer, BW Analyzer, and BO Analysis Office.
Must have good understanding of SAP S/4 FI, PM, SD modules.
Ability to design, develop, and articulate solutions based on business requirements.
Expertise in the development of Process Chains, Scheduling, and information broadcasting.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
Third-party systems integration with BW.
