Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and driven
Automation Tester
with 5–7 years of hands-on testing experience, including involvement in
public sector
or government-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation frameworks, scripting, and continuous integration practices, and will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure high-quality and secure software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute
automated test scripts
using industry-standard tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Java/Python, TestNG, JUnit).
Develop
automation frameworks
and reusable components to support regression, functional, and integration testing.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
Perform thorough analysis of test results and root cause of failures.
Support
continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD)
pipelines by integrating automated tests.
Maintain and enhance test suites to ensure accuracy and relevancy with application changes.
Ensure test coverage meets quality standards expected for public sector compliance (e.g., data privacy, security, accessibility).
Participate in
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
support and production readiness validation.
Document automation strategies, test cases, and results in alignment with government project standards.
Requirements:
5–7 years of experience in
software test automation .
Proven experience working on
public sector or government projects , understanding of regulatory and compliance standards.
Experience in setting up and maintaining
CI/CD pipelines
using tools like
Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps .
Strong understanding of
test automation frameworks
(e.g., Page Object Model, BDD with Cucumber).
Familiar with
test management tools
like JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
Knowledge of
Agile/Scrum methodologies .
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have:
Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g.,
JMeter, LoadRunner ).
Basic knowledge of
manual testing
and ability to perform hybrid QA tasks when required.
Familiarity with
government security protocols , IM8 policies, and G50 clearance processes.
