Roles & Responsibilities Responsibilities: Perform Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) assessments and coordinate with stakeholders to plan and schedule patching activities. Execute patch management and vulnerability remediation for network and firewall devices. Conduct firmware upgrades, rollbacks, and post-patching validations to ensure system stability and integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve L2-level network and firewall issues, including patching or firmware-related incidents. Implement and verify network device hardening in accordance with security and compliance standards. Maintain and update the patching calendar, ensuring timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities. Collaborate with L3 and Security teams to review vulnerability findings, analyze risks, and plan remediation actions. Prepare, maintain, and present reports on patch compliance, vulnerability status, and related documentation. Ensure full adherence to organizational policies, change management procedures, and IT security standards. Required Skills & Experience: Must have: Hands-on experience in patch management and vulnerability management for network and firewall devices. Must have: Strong troubleshooting skills for patching and firmware upgrade-related issues. Proven expertise in network and firewall patching, firmware upgrades, and rollback procedures. Solid understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching) and firewall configurations. Experience conducting CVE assessments, ensuring security compliance, and implementing industry best practices. Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or similar platforms (preferred). Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. Work Schedule: 5-day work week on a rotational shift basis. Support required for network upgrades or patching activities after 6 PM on weekdays or during weekends, as scheduled.
