About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Junior Physiotherapist to join our veterinary rehabilitation team. This role is ideal for candidates with training in physiotherapy who are looking to apply their skills in a veterinary clinical setting. You will work alongside rehabilitation veterinarians and senior therapists to support patients recovering from surgery, injury, chronic pain, or mobility issues. This position combines hands-on clinical care, physiotherapy techniques, and client communication to improve patient comfort, mobility, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Patient Evaluation & Treatment Support Assist in evaluating patients' mobility, strength, and pain levels. Support the development and implementation of individualized rehabilitation plans in collaboration with veterinarians. Monitor patient progress and provide input for treatment adjustments. Therapy Modalities Apply and assist with physiotherapy modalities such as hydrotherapy (underwater treadmill, swimming), therapeutic land exercises, laser therapy, and manual therapy under supervision. Safely handle and monitor patients during therapy using low-stress techniques. Client Communication & Support Provide pet owners with updates, demonstrations, and guidance for at-home care. Support clients emotionally throughout their pet's rehabilitation journey. Collaboration & Records Work closely with veterinarians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure coordinated care. Maintain accurate patient records, progress notes, and treatment updates. Requirements Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent. 1–3 years of experience in rehabilitation, physiotherapy, or related field (veterinary experience advantageous but not required). Strong animal handling, teamwork, and communication skills. Interest in veterinary rehabilitation with willingness to pursue certification (e.g., CCRP, CCRT).
