Our goal: make durable behavior change effortless and measurable. We're now seeking a founding engineer to architect the data spine powering the world's first Healthspan Operating System . This is not a "join a funded startup and get a market‐rate package" role. This is come in early, help create the company, own a meaningful equity stake, and build from zero with us. The Opportunity Join as Founding Engineer to design, build, and scale the data infrastructure that enables adaptive health interventions — from event ingestion to outcomes intelligence. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, experimentation, and healthtech , delivering: AI‐driven precision habits that create lasting gains in sleep, activity, and mental wellness On‐device intelligence that preserves privacy while enabling real‐time insights Evidence‐based outcomes trusted by employers, payers, and providers Global impact on healthy ageing — starting from Singapore and scaling across APAC As a true co‐founder, you'll be involved in product and hiring from day one. What You'll Build Own the data spine end‐to‐end: Architect systems for streaming ingestion (Kafka / Pub/Sub), storage (Delta / Iceberg), and orchestration (Airflow / Beam)Build experimentation frameworks — A/B infra, microrandomized trials (MRTs), off‐policy evaluation, causal inference Implement edge / on‐device analytics : data permissions, sampling, scoring, and aggregate uplink Design security and compliance by default (PII tokenization, KMS, RBAC/ABAC, audit trails; SOC2/ISO readiness)Optimize infrastructure for cost, reliability, and SLO discipline Recruit, mentor, and lead a world‐class team across data, ML, and security engineering once funding is in place You may be a great fit if you: Are fluent in data platforms, distributed systems, and causal experimentation Have led data or infrastructure teams from zero to scale Balance hands‐on technical depth with strong architectural judgment Care deeply about privacy‐preserving design and regulatory compliance Are financially ready to commit full‐time during the early build phase with equity as the main upside until funding This is NOT a fit if you: Need a market‐rate salary in the next few months Prefer a clear corporate structure, defined ladders, and low risk See this as "just another job" instead of a multi‐year founder journey Are a first‐time founder seeking deep technical ownership Have experience in healthtech, digital phenotyping, or edge analytics Are prepared to set up operations and team overseas and travel as needed If you're ready to architect the data backbone of next‐generation preventive health — and help define a company from the ground up — let's talk. #J-18808-Ljbffr
