Cyber Forensics Expert

Job Title: Cyber Forensics Expert

  • We conduct comprehensive digital forensic investigations on computer systems, mobile devices, networks, and cloud infrastructure to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • The evidence collected is preserved and analyzed in a manner that adheres to legal standards and regulations.
  • Incident response, root cause analysis, and malware forensics are performed to determine the source and impact of security breaches.
  • Our assessments include evaluating system vulnerabilities, conducting penetration testing, and providing recommendations for security improvements to prevent future incidents.
  • We develop and implement cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and incident response plans to ensure our organization's security posture is strong and resilient.
  • As an expert consultant, we provide detailed reports and serve as expert witnesses if required to provide objective insights into complex security matters.
  • To maintain expertise, we stay up-to-date with the latest cybercrime trends, forensic tools, and cybersecurity best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience in cyber forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity consulting with a strong track record of success.
  • Familiarity with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Autopsy, and Cellebrite.
  • A strong understanding of network security, malware analysis, and threat intelligence with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, PCI-DSS) and certifications such as CEH, CHFI, GCFA, CISSP, OSCP are highly advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage complex security incidents with minimal supervision.
