We are currently seeking passionate and experienced Adjunct Maths Teachers to join our team of dedicated educators.
Job Description:
We are looking for dedicated and experienced Adjunct Maths Teachers to teach Primary and/or Secondary level Mathematics. The ideal candidate will be passionate about mathematics education, possess a strong understanding of the Singapore mathematics curriculum, and be able to effectively engage and inspire students of varying abilities. You will play a key role in helping our students achieve their academic goals and develop a strong foundation in mathematics.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct engaging and effective mathematics lessons for primary and/or secondary school students in a tuition centre setting.
  • Curriculum development and materials to engage students
  • Deliver instruction in line with Stag Match Tuition's curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.
  • Provide clear and concise explanations of mathematical concepts.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and questions.
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Prepare and mark assignments, quizzes, and other assessments.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and centre management.
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the centre's mathematics curriculum.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a NIE-trained teacher, Ex-MOE teacher, or a current teacher.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education (with a focus on Mathematics), or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in teaching Primary and/or Secondary Mathematics in a Singapore school or tuition centre setting.
  • Strong understanding of the Singapore mathematics curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in teaching Mathematics .
  • Familiarity with various teaching pedagogies (e.g., inquiry-based learning, differentiated instruction).
  • Experience in curriculum development.
