EBAS is exclusively partnering with a global venture builder to launch and scale its Southeast Asia platform. Since 2018, this group has helped build 65+ companies that have touched 15M+ users and generated $1B+ in revenue. You'll be the on-the-ground leader in SEA—raising capital from LPs, building strategic relationships across health systems and payers, and attracting top founders—while shaping how AI-native healthcare ventures get created and scaled in the region. Why You Will Be Excited About This Role: Build a fund from scratch in SEA: lead LP fundraising, unlock first close, and drive capital formation. On-the-ground support: work closely with counterparts across the US, Middle East, UK, and France. What You Will Be Working On Lead fundraising with regional LPs; run processes, negotiate terms, and coordinate capital raises. Build and manage relationships with hospital systems, clinics, insurers, and founders to grow a robust healthcare ecosystem. Source, evaluate, and coach founders; assess early-stage ventures and shape the earliest company‐building moves. Represent the platform in‐market; independently run senior meetings and develop partnerships. Adapt the venture‐builder model to local nuances; collaborate with the global development team on strategy and execution. What Type of Person Will Be Successful 6–10 years in VC/PE investing or founder/operator roles (ideally a mix of both). Relationships in Southeast Asia (Singapore/Malaysia/Indonesia priority) with startup founders and LPs (ideally). Strong knowledge/curiosity in healthcare and the regional startup landscape; US firm exposure or angel activity is a plus. Startup mindset with appetite for risk/reward; highly independent and network‐driven. Based in Singapore (or willing to relocate from Malaysia). Visa sponsorship not available.
