This is an opportunity for an experienced React Native developer to rebuild and scale a live Provider platform's mobile application. The role involves developing a new Provider app from the ground up, leveraging existing backend APIs and collaborating with a team that manages multiple applications across iOS, Android, and web. The initial contract is for two months, with a strong likelihood of extension based on performance and project needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering robust, maintainable code and is motivated to contribute to a rapidly growing platform with a real user base. This is a fully remote position, offering the chance to make a significant impact as the platform expands. Deliverables
  • Architect and develop a new Provider mobile app using React Native
  • Integrate with existing backend APIs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on requirements and deliverables
  • Ensure the application is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to deliver a stable production release
  • Provide technical documentation and support for ongoing maintenance
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Proven experience building and deploying React Native applications in production environments
  • Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, state management, and API integration
  • Familiarity with Swift (iOS), Java (Android), and Angular (web) is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Experience working with backend APIs and troubleshooting integration issues
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
  • Strong sense of ownership, reliability, and accountability in delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate effectively with distributed teams
  • Availability for a full-time, two-month contract with potential for extension
