And if that’s you we would love to have you join us As a Senior Software Engineer for a world‑class industrial automation company, you will be responsible for full‑stack development focusing on Digital Manufacturing solutions like Digital Twin, AI/ML, AR/VR, and Optimization. You will mentor team‑members and technically guide them concerning design and implementation techniques and decompose complex problems into a set of simpler ones and help evaluate design alternatives. When you join our Digital Manufacturing Software Development group, you become part of a team that believes in knowledge sharing, innovation, learning, collaboration and a commitment to the best practices and technology. You will report to our Global Digital Manufacturing Architect. Job Responsibilities: Write well‑documented and performing code, including source code documentation that meets client standards. Schedule, conduct, and participate in design reviews and prepare design notes according to group standards and based on an approved set of requirements. A design note includes a requirement statement, problem definition, solution description, test scenarios, and migration issues. Develop iterative prototypes. Code reviews of team‑members’ work and get own code reviewed by team‑members. Create and run unit tests on multiple configurations. Conduct Troubleshooting to resolve issues. Client liaison to collect requirements, functional specification development, and provide recommendations on solutions. The Essentials – You Will Have: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. The Preferred – You Might Also Have: 7–10 years of experience in software development or Industry 4.0 development and implementation including Digital Twin, AI/ML, AR/VR. Experience with development using Python, C#, Java or similar programming language. Experience leading architecture, design, development and coordination of application development focusing on Digital Manufacturing solutions like Digital Twin, AI/ML, AR/VR, Optimization. Prepare work estimates, assumptions, constraints, and dependencies. Create and run unit tests, automated tests.
