Client’s advisor on a major airport development project. He will ensure that the client’s objectives for safety, efficiency, sustainability, and value for money are achieved across all phases of planning, design, procurement, and construction. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business needs.
Manage procurement of consultants and contractors and drive the project design and execution stages. Responsible for technical oversight, and governance support throughout the project lifecycle. Guide the consultants and contractor on airport operational requirement and safe management of construction work within terminal/ airport environment.
Key responsibilities
Act as the client’s lead advisor on a major airport development project. This role is critical in providing strategic direction, technical oversight, and governance support throughout the project lifecycle.
Serve as the client’s principal advisor on all aspects of the airport project.
Oversee master planning, design, procurement, and construction phases to ensure alignment with client goals.
Review and challenge consultant, contractor, and program manager outputs for quality, cost, risk, and compliance.
Advise on governance structure, procurement strategy, phasing, and stakeholder engagement.
Provide expert guidance on key decisions, regulatory issues, and strategic direction.
Monitor and report on project progress, risks, opportunities, and financials to senior client stakeholders.
Liaise with airport authorities, government agencies, airlines, and community stakeholders as needed.
Drive integration of sustainability, innovation, and operational efficiency into project execution.
Support change management, value engineering, and risk mitigation strategies throughout the project.
Requirements
Good team player, self-motivated with strong ability to multi-task and able to handle fast-paced projects.
Innovative, creative and with good analytical thinking ability, qualitative/ quantitative and problem-solving skills.
Good degree in Engineering/ Architecture/ Building Services.
Familiarity with project management of phased construction and addition and alteration works within live operation will be assessed favourably.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiar with ISO9001 and ISO14000
