Your Role
We are seeking an Assistant Manager / Manager – Business Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision-making. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of our business landscape. You will work closely with senior leadership, including CEO and the Country Managers, and head of departments to provide insights, streamline processes, and support business growth initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into data and reporting solutions.
Conduct business and financial analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and improvement areas.
Manage reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs to track business performance.
Lead and oversee data cleaning, validation, and automation processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement business strategies and solutions.
Prepare and present insightful reports and recommendations for senior management.
Mentor junior analysts and guide them in best practices for business analytics
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Assistant Manager, or Manager in a data-driven role.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in SQL, Excel, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Experience with automation (e.g., Python, R, workflow tools) is an advantage.
Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders.
Knowledge of the industry and competitor landscape is highly preferred.
Business Mandarin proficiency is required to liaise with internal stakeholders based in China
Experience working with competitors in the industry.
Familiarity with business intelligence frameworks and advanced analytics techniques.
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for data analysis is an added advantage
Leadership or mentoring experience in analytics teams is preferred
