XHS Marketing Specialist Job Description

This role involves developing and executing marketing campaigns that align with business objectives. It also includes content creation, community engagement, and advertising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan & Execute Strategy : Develop and implement XHS marketing campaigns aligned with business goals.
  • Content Creation : Produce engaging posts (text, images, videos) tailored for Chinese-speaking audiences.
  • Community Engagement : Grow followers, manage comments/messages, and build brand presence on XHS.
  • KOL/Influencer Marketing : Identify, collaborate, and manage partnerships with relevant KOLs/KOCs.
  • Advertising & Campaigns : Run and optimize paid ads, seasonal promotions, and product launches.
  • Analytics & Reporting : Track performance, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
  • Cross-Platform Alignment : Coordinate with TikTok, Instagram, WhatsApp, and sales teams for integrated marketing.
  • Compliance : Ensure content meets guidelines and stays aligned with brand reputation.

Requirements / Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience in marketing, content creation, or community management.
  • A strong understanding of Chinese social media culture, trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in Mandarin and English.
  • A creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging content.
  • Analytical skills to track, interpret, and optimize performance data.
  • Familiarity with influencer/KOL marketing.
