Embedded Software Engineering Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development group, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance software solutions for next-generation network processors.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software packages for high-performance network processor SoCs
- Develop drivers and kernels for Ethernet, DSL, PON, and WIFI Modem/Router/Home Gateway
- Write firmware for Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) in microcontrollers
- Perform pre- and post-silicon software/firmware/hardware emulation and co-verification
- Conduct system bring-up and validation, software integration and qualification, performance optimization and profiling
- Support, maintain, and document software APIs, features, and user documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in embedded systems development
- Experience in embedded system security feature is an advantage
- Strong proficiency in C programming language
- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Proficient in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, Perl
- Good understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN, Mercurial, and Git
- Excellent understanding of embedded software principles and ability to contribute in architectural designs and trade-offs
