Job Description
- Position: Senior Hull Outfitting Design Engineer
- Well Established Singapore Based Marine & Offshore MNC
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday (7:30am – 5:00pm)
- Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,500 + Variable Bonus
- Working Location: Tuas
- Company Transport Provided
- Outpatient Medical Benefits Provided
- Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop structural design to comply with Class and Technical specification requirements within assigned schedule.
- Responsible for delivering the respective project design drawing and document according to project plan schedule. Takes on project role.
- Review external designer's pre-contract technical specifications, general arrangement and drawing lists.
- Liaise with Owner and Classification Society for the specific design requirement compliance, review, and approval.
- Create the hull outfitting equipment sourcing technical specifications for cranes, deck machinery, outfitting, etc.
- Conduct a technical assessment of the offer made by the seller.
- Liaise with suppliers and contractors for interpretation of the drawings and specifications.
- Prepare arrangement & detail outfitting drawings.
- Develop and update weight report (weight and center of gravity).
- Coordinates with detail designer / production designer and checks their processes and output.
- Communicate with the person in charge of production on trouble shooting and visiting on-site if needed.
- Safety and architectural outfitting coverage.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Marine or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in the Marine & Offshore industry Detail Design for Hull Outfitting newbuild engineering design.
- Familiar with AutoCAD/ Microsoft Office/ AVEVA.
- Good communication and analytical.
