Job Summary: As a Bartender one of your goals is to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Being a good Bartender you must be able to create classic and from sultry to innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Job Responsibilities: Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons according to recipes and customer preferences; Interact with customers, present menus, take orders and serve snacks & drinks; Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations; Conduct opening and closing duties, including setting up of the bar; To collaborate with the management on beverage programme planning and designing of the bar menu; Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies; Keep the bar area organized; Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience; Manage the bar’s inventory, including restocking liquor, mixers, and garnishes; Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards; Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately and efficiently following the SOP; Comply with all food and beverage regulations and when necessary to check customers’ identification and confirm that they are of legal drinking age; and Any other duties as required by the Company or management. Requirements Minimum Diploma or equivalent At least 2-3 years of relevant proven experience in food and beverage services as a Bartender Proficient in cocktails/mocktails mixing, garnishing, and serving customers. Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS, InfoGenesis, etc.) and able to perform cashiering duties Positive attitude and excellent communication skills Able to create a beverage programme suitable to the outlet’s concept and maintain a seasonal or signature cocktail menu to enhance the bar’s beverage offerings.
