About the Team: E-commerce's Governance and Experience (GNE) is a global team responsible for ensuring our marketplace is safe and trustworthy for not only our users, but also sellers and creators. We value user satisfaction and work on policies, rules and systems to ensure quality. As part of the GNE, the Regional Moderation team is in charge of reviewing sellers, listings and content on Tik Tok Shop for policy compliance.
We are actively seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Moderation Operations Program Manager. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your background in program management to enhance our operational processes within the fast-paced e-commerce landscape.
Responsibilities
Work closely with cross-functional partners (policy, product management, data analytics, engineering) to identify, assess and resolve auto/human moderation related issues in our products, systems, and processes.
Manage queues and moderation platform configurations, and report on key metrics.
Lead strategic projects, develop plans, facilitate meetings, and manage project teams and resources.
Serve as a liaison between leadership and cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration.
Proactively identify improvement opportunities to enhance project outcomes.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices throughout the organization.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, business administration, or other relevant field.
Proven experience in product operations and system optimization project management.
5 years experience in Trust & Safety or Content Moderation fields.
Critical thinking ability and good at problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the E-Commerce moderation sector.
Able to effectively engage with leadership, facilitate discussions about complex topics, influence, and reach agreements.
Experience defining and driving team KPIs, including prevalence measurements.
Self-motivated with a strong track record in cross-functional stakeholder management.
Able to thrive in an ambiguous working environment.
