Vehicle Body Fabrication Expert

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our workshop, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing custom metal components for vehicles.

  • Metal Fabrication: Utilize expertise in metal fabrication to create complex metal components, including aluminium and steel canopies, metal toolboxes, vehicle storage units, and containers.
  • Technical Drawing Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all fabricated items adhere to quality and safety standards, guaranteeing exceptional results.
  • Customer Collaboration: Collaborate with customers to tailor builds according to their specific needs and preferences.
  • Inspection and Adjustment: Conduct thorough inspections and make necessary adjustments after installation to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Metal Fabrication Experience: Proven experience in metal fabrication or vehicle bodywork, preferably within the automotive sector.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to deliver precise results.
  • Collaboration and Independence: Demonstrate ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Certification: Holding welding or fabrication certification is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Design Principles: Familiarity with vehicle modification and design principles is essential for this role.
