Sought After Opportunity for Agricultural Research Professional

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented agricultural research professional to join our organization in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of agricultural research projects, collecting data, and contributing to the reporting of research findings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing agricultural research projects including organizing, setting up, and maintaining controlled or field-based research trials.
• Collecting data on vegetable growth and development at the end of trials and collating data for further analysis.
• Assisting in maintaining experimental records and contributing to reporting of research findings.
• Supporting general upkeep of experimental plots or controlled environment systems as required.
• Supporting operations including routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting any issues encountered on-site.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Plant Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in crop research, cultivation, or nursery operations.
• Keen interest in agriculture R&D and sustainable food production.
• Comfortable with hands-on work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Willingness to work occasionally beyond regular hours to support research timelines.
• Basic understanding of plant trials, data collection, and farm operations.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with digital tools or basic AI applications e.g. sensors, imaging, crop monitoring software is an added advantage.

Working Hours: The working hours for this position are negotiable but occasional overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
