Responsibilities Oversee MEMS process integration throughout the lifecycle from concept to mass production, ensuring robust manufacturing capabilities. Translate device designs into scalable workflows, focusing on manufacturability and innovative practices. Drive research and development on novel materials and integration methods to enhance MEMS microphone performance and cost‐effectiveness. Develop, optimize, and debug both front‐end and back‐end MEMS processes, balancing yield, reliability, and production efficiency. Collaborate with foundry teams to qualify and enhance critical process steps, including wafer bonding and lithography. Lead structured problem‐solving initiatives to address yield and reliability concerns. Interface with cross‐functional teams to ensure effective process integration across various stages. Facilitate new material selection and conduct experimental trials in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. Maintain thorough documentation including process flows and control plans, and assist in design reviews. Engage in technology roadmap discussions and contribute to early‐stage prototyping efforts. Manage process transfers between labs and factories to support smooth new product introduction and scalable manufacturing. Contribute to patent generation and technical publications related to MEMS innovations. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a similar discipline. 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in MEMS processes, semiconductor development, or microfabrication R&D. Familiarity with MEMS inertial sensors or similar technologies, such as accelerometers and gyroscopes. Experience with MEMS processing techniques including DRIE, wafer bonding, and hermetic sealing. Proficient in cleanroom operations, metrology tools, and analytical techniques (e.g., SEM, AFM). Competency in conducting design‐of‐experiments and data analysis (familiarity with JMP or Python is an advantage). Strong communication skills are essential for collaboration.
