Senior Associate/ Assistant Manager, Regional Business Strategy

Overview Senior Associate / Assistant Manager, Regional Business Strategy at Shopee Singapore. This role is designed for experienced strategists who solve complex business problems, drive cross-market initiatives, and impact dynamic digital environments. Responsibilities Lead the identification of growth opportunities and cost optimisation levers, and drive the development and execution of strategies that deliver measurable business impact Conduct and oversee structured quantitative and qualitative analyses to diagnose business challenges, generate insights, and support decision-making Research industry trends, user behaviours, and competitor strategies to inform regional and local initiatives Partner with commercial functions (e.g., marketing, category management, operations, partnerships) to refine strategic roadmaps, performance frameworks, and operational processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams across regional and local markets to monitor key performance metrics, identify gaps, and design improvement strategies Manage multiple stakeholders, align on priorities, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives across diverse teams and geographies Mentor and guide junior team members in problem-solving approaches, analytical skills, and stakeholder management Requirements At least 3 years of experience in strategy, management consulting, business operations, or related fields, preferably in high-performing organisations or fast-paced digital environments Bachelor's Degree and above in any discipline Proven track record of leading strategic projects from ideation to execution, ideally with regional or cross-market exposure Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure and simplify complex problems into actionable solutions Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with experience collaborating effectively across senior levels and diverse teams Comfortable working in ambiguity, with strong project management capabilities to drive multiple initiatives in parallel Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required; familiarity with SQL or data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau) is a plus Details Seniority level : Mid-Senior level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Strategy/Planning, General Business, and Consulting Industries : Internet Marketplace Platforms Note: This listing excludes non-essential boilerplate and unrelated job recommendations.
