Job Scope Preparing the necessary apparatus and materials needed by the Science teachers before lessons Labelling and grouping the items for easy access, turning on necessary IT equipment before the teacher is in the class Assisting teachers in the supervision of students during lab work Maintaining the equipment and apparatus in the science room Updating inventory list, identifying and condemning items which are not in working condition Collating necessary materials to be purchased and liaising with the teachers Helping teachers to buy perishable items for Science experiments Assisting Science teachers in carrying out Science events, registration and collection of forms (if any)Helping out with Science Head of Department work in the afternoons (e.g., collation of survey results, typing of simple forms, any other administrative duties as required)Assisting with the school’s safety management measures, including managing student crowd control at arrival and dismissal time Supervising students during unstructured play time during recess; assisting with any other assigned duties. Requirements Have one year’s experience working in a similar job in a primary school Be conversant in MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Working Hours Mon to Thur: 6:45 am to 4:00 pm, Fri: 6:45 am to 3:30 pm Contract Period 11 months (from Feb 2026)School Holidays 14 Mar to 22 Mar 30 May to 28 Jun 5 Sep to 13 Sep 21 Nov to 30 Nov Services not required on Saturdays, Sundays & gazetted public holidays.
