Technician No Exp Are Welcome To Apply & Training Will Be Provided Mon - Fri / Rotating Shifts Diploma / Nitec in Engineering IMMD Job Scope: Responsible for 50% Taping Operations and 50% Laser Operations or Laser Inspection Taping OperationsApply aluminum tape to aerospace componentsRemove and clean the components using abrasives and chemicalWork with Laser Engineers and Quality Inspectors to process customer's partAssist in receiving, inspecting and shipping of newly received and finish processed partsRoutine maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipmentControl and perform preventive maintenance routinesManual loading and unloading of critical aerospace componentEnsure all documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with process control standardsRead and interpret technical documentation, including work instructions, data cards, and KPIs Laser OperationsAssist Laser Operators in running control strips according to data cards and interpreting the resultsManually load and unload aerospace components into robotic processing stationsCollaborate with Laser Operators and Technicians to process aerospace parts efficiently in a fast-paced environmentCross-check rectification points on rectification sheets with those programmed to prevent laser contact with exposed metal surfacesSupport continuous improvement initiatives and maintain control parameters critical to the laser peening process In-Process InspectionPerform visual and dimensional inspections of aerospace components and verify processing parameters based on customer specificationsEnsure timely deliveries by maintaining product conformity and service qualityCommunicate effectively with the production team and contribute to performance management processesConduct periodic inspections and calibration of precision tools, ensuring accurate records are maintainedMaintain current versions of customer specifications, drawings, and inspection recordsEnsure proper tagging and identification of processed components as agreed with the customerActively participate in continuous improvement initiativesPerform hands-on inspections aligned with customer requirements and interpret associated documentation (drawings, specifications, data cards, etc.)Investigate quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions to resolve issuesPromote a safe working environment and contribute to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives in collaboration with the Quality Manager, Division Manager, and customers Requirements: Possess a Diploma / Nitec in Engineering Possess some technical experience No experience are welcome to apply and training will be provided Good communications and interpersonal skills Able to work rotating shift (morning, noon & night shift) Other Information: Mon - Fri (7am - 4:30pm / 4.30pm - 2am / 10pm - 7.30am) (Biweekly Rotation) Salary: $2000 - $2500 + $300 - $400/mth Shift Allowance + OT + AWS + VB Seletar Aerospace (Transport provided) To apply please click on the APPLY NOW button or email your resume to with the following details inside your resume for faster processing: Reason for leaving each past & current employment Salary drawn for each past & current employment Expected Salary Earliest availability date We regret only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
