Recruitment Consultant - Specialised Technology
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cloud-based database systems with a strong emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize database architecture, support business growth, and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve database issues in a timely manner
Continuously optimize database performance and efficiency
Work closely with business teams to ensure database availability and reliability
Enhance and evolve database architecture to meet business requirements
Provide technical support and knowledge sharing to development teams
Lead the development of database platforms
Contribute to the creation of database operations tools and components
Stay updated on emerging database technologies to support innovation and scalability
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or related fields
5+ years of experience with database systems (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Redis, Doris), with relevant operational experience
Skilled in at least one programming language (Shell, Python, Java) for database automation
Understanding of distributed system concepts (elections, data replication) is a plus
Experience with open-source middleware in large-scale environments is preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work under pressure
