Job Title: Lecturer in Computing Technologies

Role Overview

This position involves delivering high-quality teaching and research to contribute to the academic programs of Computing Technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and laboratories for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluate student performance.
  • Contribute to the development of academic programs and work with the academic team to improve program quality and innovation.
  • Mentor and counsel students on academic matters and supervise honors, masters, and PhD students.
  • Contribute to the School's research output and impact through individual and collaborative research projects.
  • Participate in activities that foster links with government, industry, communities, and professions in Singapore and internationally.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • A teaching qualification.
  • Membership of an appropriate professional body.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake teaching, coordination, and curriculum development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Commitment to leading-edge education, including blended learning, online teaching, project-based learning, and industry-based learning.
  • Research experience and a track record of publishing in quality academic journals.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work productively with others in a team environment.
