Job Title: Lecturer in Computing Technologies
Role Overview
This position involves delivering high-quality teaching and research to contribute to the academic programs of Computing Technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver lectures, tutorials, workshops, and laboratories for undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Conduct assessments and evaluate student performance.
- Contribute to the development of academic programs and work with the academic team to improve program quality and innovation.
- Mentor and counsel students on academic matters and supervise honors, masters, and PhD students.
- Contribute to the School's research output and impact through individual and collaborative research projects.
- Participate in activities that foster links with government, industry, communities, and professions in Singapore and internationally.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline.
- A teaching qualification.
- Membership of an appropriate professional body.
- Demonstrated ability to undertake teaching, coordination, and curriculum development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Commitment to leading-edge education, including blended learning, online teaching, project-based learning, and industry-based learning.
- Research experience and a track record of publishing in quality academic journals.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work productively with others in a team environment.
