Job Description
Responsible for performing ultrasound examinations on patients
Explaining procedures to patients
Ensuring their comfort during the examination
Positioning the patient appropriately
Operating on specialized equipment
Analyzing the results for diagnostic purposes
Working closely with other healthcare departments
Requirements
A diploma or degree in Diagnostic Radiography or Medical Imaging from a recognized institution
Practical training and experience in ultrasound imaging through internships or clinical placements / Prior work experience in a similar role
Professional certification from the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore
Proficiency in English
Candidates must be Singaporean / Permanent Resident or under an appropriate work visa/permit
Candidates must undergo a health screening to ensure fitness for healthcare work
Demonstrated skills in medication administration, wound care, and patient monitoring
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals
Attention to detail and a thorough understanding of human anatomy and physiology are crucial
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle emergencies, and make quick decisions when necessary
