Job Title: Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, processing purchases, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels by tracking stock quantities, monitoring usage, and coordinating with the warehouse team to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Process purchases by sourcing products, negotiating prices, and placing orders with suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all purchases, including prices, quantities, and delivery dates.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and technologies.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring departmental budgets to ensure alignment with financial guidelines.
  • Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, including expenditures, savings, and supplier performance.

Requirements:

  • Ability to accurately process and maintain detailed records and documents.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing work effectively.
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in negotiating favorable terms, conditions, and prices with suppliers.
  • Experience with procurement software and systems to manage purchase orders, track inventory, and generate reports.
