Lead the design and implementation of scalable, highly available, and cost-optimized cloud platform architecture across cloud environments (e.g., AWS ), including regional deployments. Design and implement a standardized Landing Zone architecture for enterprise cloud governance, permissions, network topology, logging, and monitoring, aligned with global compliance standards. Promote the adoption of cloud best practices (e.g., AWS Well-Architected Framework) to ensure solutions are designed with performance, security, cost-efficiency, operability, and reliability in mind. Contribute to the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) by developing architecture standards, automation templates, training content, and mentoring teams. Promote cloud-native practices through communities of practice and knowledge-sharing sessions. Implement Site Reliability Engineering ( SRE ) practices, including defining SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to drive operational efficiency. Lead the development of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using reusable modules in tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, and CloudFormation with Git repositories. Design and manage cloud-native architectures using services like ECS, EKS, Lambda, and event-driven technologies. Support container optimization, service mesh implementation, and CI/CD pipeline integration. Implement robust cloud security architecture, covering identity and access management (IAM), virtual private cloud (VPC) design, encryption, and compliance auditing. Formulate and implement cloud cost optimization strategies using automation tools, tagging policies, and resource planning. Facilitate collaboration across product, development, operations, and security teams. Participate in architectural reviews and proof-of-concept initiatives. Automate cloud resource management using programming languages such as Python, implement monitoring and alerting solutions, and streamline operational workflows. Maintain cloud architecture documentation and knowledge repositories to support ongoing capability development. Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance system reliability and incident response. Design and implement use cases using cloud-based generative AI services and large language models ( LLMs ), incorporating business-specific needs, compliance guardrails, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures. Qualifications Strong knowledge of cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Hybrid), cost frameworks, automation/orchestration, disaster recovery, and operational excellence. Minimum 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure architecture and hands-on implementation. At least 5 years of experience with Landing Zone architectures and cloud best practice frameworks. Experience in designing and implementing serverless and event-driven architectures. Experience in large-scale digital transformation across enterprise functions is preferred. Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus. Familiarity with data protection and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, PCI-DSS, and cross-border data handling requirements is an advantage. Proficiency in tools and platforms including Terraform, OpenTofu, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Ansible , and scripting languages for automation. Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and concepts rapidly. Strong analytical thinking, project coordination, and communication skills. Able to thrive in agile and fast-paced environments.
