Senior Structural Engineer Position
We are seeking a skilled Senior Structural Engineer to lead our project engineering design work. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with clients, vendors, and third parties on technical discussions and document submissions.
About the Role
This is a senior-level position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design, preferably in offshore or civil engineering. You should have a degree in civil/marine engineering or naval architecture and be familiar with international aluminium and/or offshore structure design codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the project engineering design work, ensuring timely delivery and quality outputs.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and third parties on technical discussions and document submission.
- Coordinate with project teams on project planning and execution.
- Supervise and check design drawings, material take-off, and shop drawings.
- Perform structural analysis and prepare structural analysis reports.
Qualifications
- Degree in civil/marine engineering or naval architecture.
- Minimum 5 years of structural design experience in offshore or civil engineering.
- Familiarity with international aluminium and/or offshore structure design codes and standards.
- Knowledge in Staadpro/Tekla.
- An effective team player, problem solver, and self-motivated individual.
- Good written and spoken English.
