Overview We are working with a leading global financial institution that’s expanding its in-house Quantum Computing and AI capabilities within their Data Science & Innovation division. They’re looking for a Quantum Computing Specialist to drive research and development at the frontier of quantum algorithms, generative AI, and applied data science — shaping the next generation of financial innovation. The Role Support the design and testing of quantum and hybrid machine learning models for financial use cases. Work with senior researchers and external partners on innovation and research projects. Contribute to collaborative studies with universities and research institutes to develop new methods and proof-of-concept models. Explore and apply Generative AI and ML techniques to practical business challenges. Help build and maintain code samples, notebooks, and internal knowledge resources . Stay curious — continuously learn, experiment, and share insights across the wider data science community. What You’ll Bring Background in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Quantum Computing . Understanding of quantum algorithms , gate-model systems , or hybrid ML frameworks . Familiarity with Python , Qiskit , Cirq , or similar libraries. Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn in a fast-evolving technical field. Knowledge of banking or financial services is nice to have , but not required. Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary environment. Qualifications PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related STEM discipline, or Master’s degree in a relevant STEM field with at least 2 years of experience in quantum or AI research.
