Roles & Responsibilities Job Title: Teacher Aide Employment Type: Contract (12 months) Contract : 19 December 2025 - 18 December 2026 Working Hours: Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am – 4:30pm (including 30-minute lunch break) Fridays: 7:30am – 4:30pm (including 30-minute lunch break) Working days: Monday to Friday (except gazetted public holidays) Service may be required up to two times on Saturdays. Up to 44 hours per week (excluding lunch break). Selected staff may discuss with the Reporting Officer for a longer lunch break, with adjusted working hours accordingly. Location: Blackmore Dr Monthly Salary: $2,000 - $2,200 per month Commensurate with qualifications and experience Notice Period: 1 month’s notice or 1 month’s salary in lieu Job Description The personnel will provide operational coordination, administrative support, and project assistance to various departments, mainly in the Food and Consumer Education (FCE) and Aesthetics environments. Main Duties Support teachers in preparing lessons and practical sessions for FCE and needlework. Prepare and label ingredients, set up workstations, and ensure tools and equipment are ready for use. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and classroom before, during, and after lessons. Wash, dry, and store utensils and equipment properly after each session. Supervise cleaners in cleaning the kitchen, disposing of waste, and maintaining hygiene standards. Receive and store grocery deliveries, check stock levels, and alert teachers when replenishment is needed. Label and organize ingredients, and remove expired items when necessary. Help ensure students follow safety and hygiene practices during lessons. Manage laundry of kitchen linens and aprons. Secure kitchen and preparation rooms after use and report any safety or equipment issues promptly. Other Duties Provide assistance during school events or exhibitions related to food, nutrition, or aesthetics. Support Art and Music teachers in preparing materials and simple administrative tasks for the Aesthetics Department. Assist teachers in administering tests, oral and written examinations. Perform basic administrative work such as scanning, printing, stapling, and generating reports. Chaperone students during outside-of-school activities or learning journeys. Assist in outreach events such as Open House and Roadshows. Support general school operations such as updating data entries, stock taking, and booking venues. Carry out other duties as assigned by teachers or school administration (e.g. exam duties, level duties, or school events such as Teachers’ Day, National Day, and Founder’s Day). The personnel is required to sign an undertaking to safeguard official information. Requirements Minimum a Trade Certificate (e.g. ITE/NTC) and above At least one year of experience working in a secondary school (as a Teacher Aide) preferred Experience or interest in cooking, baking, or food preparation will be an advantage Collaborative and a team player Flexible and able to accept ambiguity Possesses basic computer skills Good communication skills and able to work independently with minimum supervision If you meet the requirements, please submit your resume directly to EA License No: 96C4864 Reg.
