Overview: The National University Health System (NUHS) is one of three public healthcare clusters which integrates the Academic and Regional Health Systems to deliver innovative and value-driven healthcare in Singapore. The National University Hospital (NUH) is a tertiary hospital and major referral centre offering a comprehensive suite of specialist care for adults, women and children. The Finance department consists of professionals with backgrounds in healthcare, corporate, data analytics, project and risk management, accounting and assurance Reporting to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller is responsible for the integrity and governance for a host of activities impacting the financial accounts of the hospital. Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and smooth monthly closing process in line with NUHS/ NUH requirements Address statutory reporting and audit requirements; ensuring that financials meet latest IFRS requirements Participate in the cluster and hospital's budgeting and rolling forecast processes Manage respective operational finance processes such as: Cash management Purchase requisition and orders Fixed asset management Ensure a strong culture of corporate governance by working closely with internal and external auditors and partnering stakeholders to close audit issues promptly.

Requirements:
At least 15 years of relevant working experience with minimum 10 years' experience in managerial roles; experience in the public healthcare sector will be an advantage Strong sense of business acumen and ability to engage stakeholders to deliver on improvement outcomes Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders from diverse background at various seniority Numerate, meticulous and possesses analytical aptitudes to make sense of complex data from multiple sources to deliver succinct but visually engaging narratives and plans for action Dynamic leader with a proven track record of building and developing lean and high performing teams Able to be hands on when the need arises, with proficiency in MS Office suite and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
