Roles & Responsibilities · Client Prep: o Greeting clients with a warm and welcoming smile. o Draping clients with gowns and towels to protect their clothing. o Shampooing, conditioning, and rinsing clients' hair as instructed by the stylist. o Preparing and mixing hair colour and other chemical treatments. · Assisting Hairstylist o Handing stylists tools and products during appointments. o Holding hair sections during cutting or styling. o Assisting with highlighting, balayage, and other colouring techniques. o Applying toners and glosses. o Performing blow-drying and basic styling. · Salon Maintenance: o Keeping the salon clean and organized, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting. o Washing and folding towels. o Disinfecting tools and equipment. o Restocking supplies. o Emptying trash cans. · Administrative Tasks: o Answering phones and scheduling appointments. o Checking clients in and out. o Processing payments. o Managing inventory. · Other Duties: o Staying up-to-date on the latest hair trends and techniques. o Attending training sessions and workshops. o Providing excellent customer service.
