This role involves reliability test program coding for Micron’s latest High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) products within the Media Health team, with responsibilities spanning intrinsic and extrinsic reliability testing for DRAM, interface die, and stacked products for extrinsic DPM and intrinsic reliability assessment to meet KPI goals for Quality, Cost, and Cycle Time.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring reliability and robustness through advanced coding practices and comprehensive testing. The position requires strong engineering principles, problem-solving skills, and a dedication to high-quality standards. You will collaborate across functions within and outside of HBM to meet strategic and tactical objectives while continually maximizing the effectiveness of the HIG HBM PE organization.

Responsibilities
Reliability Test Program Coding: Write and debug test programs for HBM device and package qualification and collaborate with other teams to ensure full test coverage and that issues are identified and addressed.
Root Cause Understanding and Resolution of reliability test program related issues
Promotion of Innovation and Challenge to Status Quo: Promote innovation and drive changes (e.g., new reliability features, code infrastructure optimization) to provide Micron with a technical advantage.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Fab, HBM Technology Development, HBM Design, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams to enable holistic development and shipping of end products.
Data Analysis for Validation: Use in-house statistical tools for engineering data analysis for validation and risk assessment.
Hardware Specifications and Validation: Define interface hardware specifications and validate and debug new interface boards to ensure compatibility and performance.
Technical Decision Making: Make final decisions on risk analysis and project prioritization impacting technological direction.
Mentorship and Development of Others: Actively develop and mentor teammates.
Project Management: Develop and apply project management skills for timely delivery of solutions.
Process Improvement: Identify system and process improvements and promote continuous cost reduction and quality improvement efforts.
Requirements
Bachelors/Masters in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with 5+ years in the semiconductor industry. Product or Test Engineering experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of coding/programming languages such as Python and C++.
Proven experience in reliability engineering or a related role.
Strong technical problem-solving skills, root cause analysis, and attention to detail.
Basic understanding of CMOS technology and DRAM device physics and design.
Good multi-tasking skills and ability to set priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Knowledge of statistics and data analysis tools and scripting.
Familiar with testing verification approaches.
Effective written and spoken English communication skills to articulate technical concepts and findings.
Ability to implement and adhere to testing protocols.
Proven track record of collaborative work within/across teams on complex problems.
On-site work in Singapore with international travel to the US, Taiwan, and Japan
