Speech Therapist Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our organization. The successful candidate will play a vital role in empowering children to reach their full potential and thrive in their developmental journey.
About the Role:
- This position involves providing therapy for young children (0 to 6 years) with special needs to improve their speech, language, and communication skills.
- The ideal candidate will assess oromotor, speech, language, and functional communication skills & needs of young children with special needs.
- Deliver therapy services through direct therapy, consultation with teachers and parents, collaboration with teachers and parents, or monitoring of child's progress.
- The selected candidate will work closely with the intervention team in areas of assessment, goal development, intervention strategies, and progress monitoring in a trans-disciplinary setting.
- Maintain accurate documentation on clients' progress.
- Conduct in-service and parent workshop talks to promote education and awareness.
Requirements:
- A Degree in Speech Therapy from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Health under the Allied Health Professions Act is essential.
- Full Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council is required.
- Preferably, candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience are welcome to apply.
