Overview
IT Business Intermediate Analyst (Ledger Domain) at Citi. This role supports the Financial Full Suite initiative, a strategic ledger system for Citi Finance and Risk transformation, addressing processes, data, organization, and technology to drive consistency, efficiency, and control across Citi’s Finance and Risk Infrastructure. Candidates should have experience in a techno-functional BA role in the financial domain, with strong technology knowledge in Oracle and UNIX; knowledge of Ab-initio or an equivalent ETL tool is preferable.
Responsibilities
Act as an expert in technology, financial data, end-to-end systems, and operation processes of the Fullsuite application. Identify data quality issues, determine root causes, and provide solutions by collaborating with upstream/downstream systems, Operations, Finance, Business, and Technology teams across regions (ASIA, EMEA, NAM, LATAM).
Deliver and implement Consent Order solutions and Data Concern Remediation Management (DCRM) across all regions.
Utilize Oracle and UNIX technologies; knowledge of Ab-initio is preferred. Debug problems by reviewing programming code and performing complex SQL queries to identify root causes.
Participate in IT development life cycles and contribute to delivering better IT solutions.
Collaborate with team members across locations to foster an environment with strong system expertise.
Qualifications
4+ years of overall IT experience.
Strong in Oracle (SQL & PLSQL) and UNIX technologies; Ab-initio experience preferred. Minimum 3 years in these technologies.
Strong understanding of financial ledger concepts and financial/management reporting functionalities. Minimum 2 years in this area.
Strong in data analysis, root cause analysis, and stakeholder engagement/coordination for solutions and implementations.
Experience collaborating with teams across various locations.
Knowledge of finance technology, financial data, end-to-end system flows, and operations processes of Ledger applications.
Demonstrated leadership ability with clear and concise written and verbal communication and evidence-based reasoning.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner and influence across organizational lines.
Proven ability to use complex analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving techniques.
