Roles and Responsibilities

3D Design & Spatial Planning:

  • Lead the conceptualization and development of innovative 3D designs for projects such as exhibition booths, event stages, brand activations, and pop-up experiences.
  • Develop detailed spatial plans, floor layouts, and circulation flows to optimize user experience, functionality, and safety.
  • Create compelling 3D models, renderings, and walk-throughs to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Select materials, finishes, and lighting to enhance aesthetic and functional aspects.
  • Prepare design intent drawings or technical specifications for fabrication and construction.

Experiential & MICE Industry Focus:

  • Demonstrate understanding of experiential design principles to evoke emotions, tell stories, and facilitate interactions.
  • Apply knowledge of the MICE industry, including event structures, attendee journeys, logistical considerations, and industry demands.
  • Integrate technology, interactive elements, and multimedia into designs.
  • Research and propose innovative solutions aligned with client objectives and industry trends.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with clients, project managers, graphic designers, content creators, and fabricators from concept to completion.
  • Conduct site visits and work with technical teams to ensure feasibility and successful installation.

General Design & Collaboration:

  • Participate in brainstorming and contribute innovative design concepts.
  • Translate briefs into effective, aesthetically pleasing designs that meet objectives.
  • Present concepts to clients and teams, articulating design rationale.
  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain brand consistency across outputs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and software advancements.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of industry experience, with MICE industry experience a plus.
  • Diploma or degree in Interior Architecture, Exhibition Design, or Theatre Design.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software such as SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, or Blender.
  • Strong command of rendering engines like V-Ray, Keyshot, or Enscape for photorealistic visualizations.
