Lead Designer

This role is a senior-level individual contributor role, and you will serve as the standard for design quality, own the evolution of our brand's design system, and provide final creative approval on all major outputs. What You'll Do: - Act as the final approver for all major design outputs, ensuring every asset meets the highest standards for: Craft and Quality: Reviewing and signing off on the execution and aesthetic detail of each piece. Brand Integrity: Ensuring all designs align with the established brand guidelines and visual tone. Cohesion: Verifying that all assets are consistent with each other and fit into the overall brand ecosystem. - Drive the evolution and adherence of all creative materials to the brand's visual identity by: Owning the Design System: Defining and updating core elements like typography, color palettes, and component libraries. Developing Style Guides: Creating and maintaining clear, comprehensive guides for use across the organization. Providing Direction: Ensuring a cohesive visual tone is applied consistently across all channels, including web, social media, print, and video. - Lead and execute the design on high-impact projects that set the creative standard, such as: Major brand campaigns and product launches. Core brand identity updates or refreshes. New visual initiatives that define the brand's future look and feel. - Partner with senior leadership to ensure design strategy supports business goals by: Aligning with Vision: Collaborating with the Creative Director to ensure design systems reflect the long-term brand vision. Supporting Campaigns: Working with the Senior Art Director to align creative execution with campaign narratives. - Guide junior designers to ensure visual consistency and high quality by: Providing on-brand graphic and motion templates where possible. Ensuring that junior and mid-level designers are following best practices and internal brand guidelines. Who You Are: With minimum 5 years of proven experience as a senior-level designer or similar role, with a deep understanding of design principles and brand systems, experience in fashion, beauty, or retail / e-commerce is preferred, but not required. An exceptional portfolio showcasing a strong eye for detail, visual quality, and brand-consistent work. Expertise in owning and evolving a brand's visual identity across multiple touchpoints. Strong mentorship skills and the ability to set creative standards for a team. A collaborative spirit and experience working with a multidisciplinary creative team.
