Key Qualifications:
5+ years of of systems and/or project management experience
Experience with projects from scoping and design, to planning and implementation
Coordinating efforts with other regions, often requiring additional hours and late/early phone calls
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Effective presentation skills, especially at the executive level
Experience working with tools that impact processes and data
Ability to work cross functionally and lead key projects with limited information or oversight
Experience working in a large, complex global organization
Experience working with both IT and Sales stakeholders
Experience with continuous system/process improvement
Job Description:
This Project Manager will lead and implement tasks, projects and ad hoc requests with key partners, while providing Regional and Global management with accurate assessments of project and process approaches, issues, and risks. A successful Specialized Systems Project Manager will be able to look beyond the current process and refine/define/iterate/implement systems and processes that align with the organization’s strategic goals, while addressing potential future business needs.
The responsibilities of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for ensuring that new programs and system projects are completed within project timelines and appropriately developed to effectively meet LOB requirements. Demonstrate a high level of understanding of the project lifecycle (globally) and effectively communicate project status and requirements.
Demonstrating a leadership role in complex, multi-phased projects while maintaining relationship with all projects teams to become a trusted advisor to partners
Anticipate potential problems and work proactively to provide and implement solutions to a wide range of global, cross-functional issues. Negotiate and set expectations with regional team members and management.
Support key business objectives. Develop innovative solutions, systems, and products to support customer objectives.
Communicate project statuses to Global Specialty management team, and ensure project managers have mitigation plans in place to minimise risk.
Education:
BS/BA and/or relevant experience
PMI/PMP certification or other project certifications (i.g. Agile, Sigma, etc.)
