Regional Employee Relations Lead (JP/KR) - Technology Be among the first 25 applicants. With a strong reputation and track record in leading innovation, they are now looking for a Regional Employee Relations Lead to manage their Japan and Korea markets. Fluency in Japanese is essential as the position will serve as the key point of contact between the Singapore and Japan offices. This is a newly created, permanent headcount based in Singapore. About the job You will report to the function lead for Asia‐Pacific and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, HRBPs and legal counsel. In addition, the role will: Lead and manage complex employee‐related matters including misconduct hearings, performance management issues, formal complaints, objective inquiries, and work with the legal team to formulate business recommendations. Provide advisory to the business on organisation structure and design, contributing to talent development. Drive targeted learning sessions, collaborating with L&D to deliver training that promotes employee relations excellence among HRBPs and organisational leaders. Serve as an expert advisor on best practices for employee relations cases, offering guidance on internal policies and compliance with local employment practices. Skills and experience required Minimum 10 years' experience in Human Resources or equivalent. Minimum 5 years' experience in employee relations, performance management, organisation design / restructuring, and/or employment law with international MNCs. Fluency in Japanese language is essential for daily communication with the Japan office. Excellent communication skills and ability to partner effectively with stakeholders at various levels. Strong understanding of Asia‐Pacific employment law, country legislation and frameworks. Strong analytical skills using data‐driven methods for advisory and recommendations. Experience in employee relations, organisation design/structuring, and employment law is encouraged. The role supports mobility and can sponsor candidates with Japanese fluency.
