The College of Computing & Data Science (CCDS) invites applications for the position of Research Engineer II.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing AI models
Designing and conducting human behavioral experiments
Job Requirements:
Preferably Bachelor in computer engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
At least 4 years of post-Bachelor degree relevant working experience
Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player
Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills
Strong coding and implementation skills in developing AI models
In depth understanding of neural circuits for controlling eye movements in neuroscience
Strong communication skills in terms of writing and reading academic papers, and presenting research works in public settings
Candidates must have strong computational background
Candidates must have coding experiences in deep reinforcement learning and deep learning
Candidates must also have strong neuroscience backgrounds especially in designing and conducting human behavioral experiments
