Roles & Responsibilities We are looking for a highly-motivated postdoctoral fellow to work on the project “Disruptive & Sustainable Technologies for Agricultural Precision” a research programme funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF). Key Responsibilities: Developing platform technologies for diagnosis of abiotic stresses Developing CRISPR leaf vegetables that are tolerant to abiotic stresses Requirements: PhD in the field of plant molecular biology, biochemistry or agricultural biotechnology At least one first-author paper in an international peer-reviewed journal Prior research experience in chemical biology (metabolites analysis) and/or synthetic biology will be an added advantage Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently Salary and benefits are commensurable to educational qualifications and working experience of the candidate.
