Candidates who have the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:* PhD in Applied Linguistics, English for Academic Purposes, Linguistics, Education, Literature, or Rhetoric and Composition* Degrees in the Sciences and Engineering will be considered if the candidate can show evidence of research in disciplinary communication skills* Experience in teaching academic and/or discipline-specific writing* Interest in new media and digital literacy is a plus* An active research agendaSuccessful candidates will be expected to teach academic writing and communication skills, and to conduct research.The School of Humanities seeks a diverse and inclusive workforce and is committed to equal opportunity.
