Hitachi Storage Professional

This is a key role requiring expertise in Hitachi storage solutions, including architecture, midrange and enterprise storage systems, replication, snapshot, shadow image, and remote replication.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be very initiative, and possess good planning and systematic execution abilities. They should also have experience with designing and implementing storage solutions, configuring and troubleshooting storage systems, managing replication processes, and providing support for VMware, OS, and scripting knowledge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing storage solutions for clients
  • Configuring and troubleshooting storage systems, including AMS, HUS, VSP, and Gx00
  • Managing replication, snapshot, and shadow image processes
  • Implementing Brocade switch and fabric configurations, including zoning, ISL, trunking, and fabric merging
  • Providing basic support for VMware, OS (AIX/Windows/Linux), and scripting knowledge
  • Performing storage performance tuning and troubleshooting
  • Managing incident management and change management processes
