Sr. Instructional Designer

Position Summary The Sr. Instructional Designer will be responsible for the end‐to‐end design, development, and evaluation of learning experiences across online, in‐person, and blended formats, applying instructional design theories and technology to create engaging, high‐quality instructional content that meets specified learning objectives. Key Responsibilities Conduct needs analysis with SMEs and stakeholders to assess training needs, identify performance gaps, and define clear learning objectives. Apply instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM) to create storyboards, course outlines, and design documents. Produce and organize e‐learning modules, videos, job aids, quizzes, presentations, and facilitator guides using Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate. Integrate visual, audio, and interactive elements into learning content. Oversee implementation of courses within an LMS and other tools, ensuring proper process, functionality, and measurements. Design and implement evaluation strategies to measure training impact (Kirkpatrick model) and collect feedback for continuous improvement. Plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. Research and apply the latest trends and innovations in instructional design, learning theory, and educational technology. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum Development, or a related field. 6+ years of proven experience as an Instructional Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing instructional materials. Extensive knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and learning evaluation methodologies. Proficiency with e‐learning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate) and LMS. Experience in creating multimedia content, including video, audio, and graphics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics. Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‐functional teams and subject matter experts. Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
