Overview Aircraft Plasma Technician (Component Repair): As an Aircraft Plasma Technician specializing in component repair, your responsibilities will include performing plasma spray coating on aircraft components to restore functionality and durability, inspecting and preparing parts for coating, operating specialized equipment for surface treatment and repair, conducting quality checks and measurements to ensure coating precision, collaborating with engineering and quality teams to meet repair specifications, maintaining accurate records of repair processes and outcomes, adhering to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines during all procedures, troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine maintenance, participating in ongoing training to stay updated on industry techniques, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the repair department. Responsibilities Performing plasma spray coating on aircraft components to restore functionality and durability. Inspecting and preparing parts for coating, ensuring compliance with aviation standards. Operating specialized equipment and tools for surface treatment and repair. Conducting quality checks and measurements to ensure coating precision. Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to meet repair specifications. Maintaining accurate records of repair processes and outcomes. Adhering to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines during all procedures. Troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine maintenance. Participating in ongoing training to stay updated on industry techniques. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the repair department. What We’re Looking For Diploma or technical certification in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or related field. Prior experience in plasma spray or component repair is highly preferred. Strong understanding of aviation safety and quality standards. Skilled in using precision tools and machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Able to work independently and manage time effectively. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
