We are looking for an experienced
IT Vendor Risk Specialist
to strengthen our client's 1.5/2nd line of defense. This role is pivotal in managing third-party IT risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and performance standards while driving robust vendor governance frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the end-to-end vendor risk management process, including onboarding/ offboarding, due diligence, performance tracking, and compliance monitoring.
Conduct and support third-party risk management audits and outsourcing audits in line with MAS requirements.
Monitor vendor compliance against regulatory, contractual, and operational obligations.
Serve as a 1.5/2nd line of defense providing independent challenge, oversight, and assurance over vendor risk controls implemented by the business.
Assist in developing and enhancing vendor management policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with MAS TRM and other relevant guidelines.
Prepare vendor performance, compliance, and risk reports for management review.
Collaborate with IT, Risk, Compliance, and Procurement teams to ensure effective vendor oversight.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in IT risk, audit, compliance, and/or vendor management.
Hands-on experience with MAS third-party risk management audits and outsourcing audits is required.
Good understanding of MAS TRM Guidelines and regulatory obligations for outsourcing arrangements.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Team player, eager to grow in vendor and outsourcing risk management role.
