Process Specialist (Assembly & Lamination, Based in China)

This position focuses on automated assembly and lamination for consumer electronics in a manufacturing environment in China. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality production through adherence to SOPs, SIPs, and FLCs, and collaborating with internal teams to support production and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Proficient in automated assembly and lamination processes for consumer electronics, including smartphones and smartwatches.
  • Skilled in precision dispensing and operating robotic arms, feeders, and vision systems to achieve accurate lamination.
  • Experience with precision jigs and fixtures, conducting tolerance analysis, and specialized tasks such as hot melt application, screw fastening, and micro-component insertion.
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality production by rigorously adhering to Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Inspection Procedures, and First Level Controls in an international manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to provide production support and drive continuous improvement toward meeting or exceeding KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Skilled in automated assembly and lamination of consumer electronics such as smartphones and smartwatches.
  • Expertise in precision dispensing and operating robotic arms, feeders, and vision systems to achieve accurate lamination results.
  • Experience working with precision jigs and fixtures, performing tolerance analysis, and handling specialized processes like hot melt application, screw fastening, and micro-component insertion.
  • Ability to ensure consistent, high-quality production by strictly adhering to SOPs, SIPs, and FLCs in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Chinese language at B3 level in O Level or equivalent to support internal and external stakeholders.
